I specialize in candid photos that show your family's unique personality. I want to ease your camera-induced anxiety and preserve a tiny little piece of your life.
My photo sessions are laid-back and casual with a film-inspired aesthetic. Laughter, dogs, and wind in your hair are all encouraged!

Candid Family Photos


Gone are the days where the only option you had was going to the mall to get photos taken in an itchy sweater with bright flashes in your face while you held very still. Yikes.


Candid photos can do a much better job of showing genuine emotion and be made to show all the amazing things that make your family unique. My favorite kind of photos are spontaneous and unposed with real emotion. I'm not a 100% documentary photographer- I will definitely still give you some prompts and pose suggestions!

I believe the best family photos won't look like you were shoved into a mold and be made to hold perfectly still. I want the photos to have a casual pace with your family being able to be themselves.

Jen was amazing!! ! She captured the most amazing photos of me and my two boys (who are younger and have thee smallest attention span). I was super nervous to be doing a photo shoot with just my kids and I, but she made me feel so relaxed and assured me everything was just fine! She gave us guidance, but also captured real life. She was the sweetest when it came to my kids, when we were done with our session my oldest was so sad to see her leave. Hands down best experience ever!
