I'm all about capturing you as you are right now, a piece of your story held still in time.
No two people are identical, and I don't believe all photos should look the same either.
These photos can be taken in your home, sitting in a cafe, in a field of flowers, near the river, eating pizza on the hood of your car, or in a studio.
These can be boudoir (feelin sexy), wearing a princess dress you feel beautiful in, an old sweater that was your Grandpa's, or your favorite ripped jeans.
The first few minutes are awkward for everyone, but after that I promise you'll be more present in the moment and focused in the moment before you know it.
I'll give you plenty of direction and make it feel authentic to who you are. You deserve to have this time in your life documented in a personal way, and look back on these photos and see yourself in them- not some version of what you "should" look like for photos.
Your story, however messy and lovely it may be deserves to be preserved.

We'll set up a phone call, and I can answer all of your questions. We can get to know each other a bit, and pick a date and time that works for both of us. I'll send over a contract and proposal, you'll pay the retainer and we're all booked!
- We'll meet, have a great time taking pics, and a couple weeks after that you'll receive an email link to your fully downloadable gallery.
- They can be made into prints, we can make an album, post them like mad, or keep them to yourself- whatever you prefer!
And don't be surprised if, like after a recent portrait session I did for a friend of mine, the images come back and you say to me, "Jen, I can't believe how beautiful I look."
