A perfect sunny day in October
Eagle, Idaho is beautiful in the early fall. A suburb of Boise, nestled between the foothills and the Boise River, the charming city has weekend farmers markets, beautiful historic buildings, and even a few vineyards. With the late summer weather hanging around, and before the leaves began changing, Ana and Mark got married on a gorgeous sunny day in early fall.
When Mark and Ana reached out to me a couple months before their wedding, we decided it would be a great idea to do their wedding portraits and extended family photos before the ceremony started. I found a garden, just down the street from their church, connected to a city path that winded through tall trees and down to the Boise River. With flowers and bales of hay, sunflowers partially wilted under the early fall weather, vegetables still growing strong, it turned out to be an idyllic setting.
The ceremony and reception were in a church, surrounded by friends and family. Afternoon light streamed in from the stained glass windows, and the flower girls and ring bearer giggled through part of the ceremony.
It really was perfect.
