autumn in boise

Fall technically begins at the end of September but the real fall foliage in Boise begins in early October when the trees start to change. The trees keep their orange, red, and yellow leaves until mid-November. These senior photos were taken on a sunny day in November in downtown Boise. We walked near the greenbelt along the bike paths and grassy side sections after a quick meet up on top of a parking garage a few blocks away. The morning started off a little chilly but it was a beautiful day with lots of sun, which you can see then filtered through the fall colors.

Idaho really is beautiful in any season, but fall is pretty special here.
